Top Yard Farm Caravan Park is a small, family-run and highly friendly site for those who want to see Skegness – only two miles away – and all the surrounding area has to offer. (Hint: quite a
bit.)
You'll pick up on the amicable vibe as soon as you arrive at this well-maintained Skeggy spot, whether that's a welcome from the Top Yard team or a glass raised at the site's licensed bar (The
Crewe Yard), serving draught beers, wines and spirits in a convivial atmosphere to round off a long sightseeing or sandy day.
The facilities here are well kept, and include a toilet and shower block, drinking water taps, and sinks for dishwashing and laundry. A play area is around for the kids, and a dog walk for welcome
canine guests.
Thanks for stopping by. Have a look around and get to know me. I welcome your thoughts, comments, tips or personal contact requests. Please use the contact form to get in touch.
Morning guys, further to the latest Government restrictions put
in place earlier this week, we just want to let you know how this will effect our site over the coming months. Please note, these restrictions are in place from today, Thursday 24th September
2020.
Rule of Six: This was implemented last week and we have already had a
weekend of observing this rule. Again, we ask all residents / visitors to follow the rule of six both onsite and in the Bar.
New Bar Rules: As I'm sure you have all seen, the Government have put in
place a Curfew of 22:00 for all bars. This means that everyone should have left the bar and the doors closed by 22:00. This being the case, our revised bar timings will be: open at 19:30, last orders
at 21:30 and everyone out of the bar by 22:00. In addition to this, it will be table service only. This means you must be sitting at a table before ordering a drink, which will be delivered to your
table. Drinks will not be served directly from the bar and also the previous arrangement where you could stand at the tables which separate the bar from the seating area will no longer be in use.
This new arrangement is far from ideal, however its the only way we can open the bar. We ask that you respect and follow these rules. Unfortunately failure to do so will result in you not being
served.
Once again we appreciate you support with these new changes and we need
to make the best of the current situation.....
In order to ensure our site
is COVID complient, we have implemented the following changes:
Arrival / Departure: -
Reception will only be in the bar and open daily from 09:00 – 11:00 & 14:00 – 16:00. If you require assistance out with these hours, please contact us on 01754 880189. Please do not come to the
house. Everyone coming to stay on our site (including seasonal pitch owners) need to inform us of their arrival / departure to enable us to keep our “Track & Trace” records up to date. Please
also note, with the exception of seasonal pitch owners, check in time will be from 14:00 with a check out time of 11:00 on your day of departure.
Toilet/Shower Blocks: - We
would request that where possible you use your own caravan toilet & shower facilities to reduce the number of people within the confined space of our toilet/shower blocks. A maximum of 2 people
(or 1 family group) will be allowed in each toilet/shower block at any time. We will carry out deep cleaning of the facilities on a regular basis. We will provide disinfectant spray and request that
you spray the facilities used before you leave.
Pot Wash Facility: - We
would request that you use your own caravan sink to reduce the number of people within the confined space of our pot wash. A maximum of 1 person (or 1 family group) will be allowed in at any
time.
Visitors: - All visitors
must report to reception to allow for “Track & Trace”
Bar: - The bar will be
open, however social distancing rules will apply. Limited seating will be available as per COVID compliant distancing rules. A one way system will be adopted for purchasing drinks/snacks from the
bar. Entrance will be from the Paddock side of the bar, exiting through the double doors back outside. Seating areas will be available, however personal chairs can also be used. Bar opening times
will also be revised, please check the bar timing board for details.
Take Away Deliveries: -
Please ensure we are aware of any take away deliveries you may have scheduled to the site. This is essential information for our Track & Trace documentation.
General
Please do not travel to the
site if you or members of your household have COVID 19 symptoms.
Social distancing to be
maintained at all times from other caravan owners.
Please ensure you report
symptoms of feeling unwell by calling us on 01754 880189.
General Caravan Safety
Measures
Please ensure to flush
through water systems to clear out any stagnant water, especially shower heads which should be held away from the face to avoid inhaling spray.
Where annual gas safety
checks are required, these should be carried out as soon as possible.
Check back later for caravan sales......
